• just finished David Brin's Sundiver and am now delving into the next book of the Uplift Series, Startide Rising. It's been so long since I've read this series that nothing is familiar... I never knew I could forget something so entirely. Kind of a disturbing feeling.



• off and on reading several other things that I'm not very serious about. Like Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain. and Leaves in Myth, Magic and Medicine.

• Yep, I ordered a Palm. And a big memory card. And the SimCity game card. :D I paid for the shipping, too, (as opposed to the free shipping that takes forever and a day) so it better hurry up and get here.
• SO's birthday was yesterday. I'm getting him a DVD player!

Currently in the CDROM drives
Clip art collections. In the top one is the Dover Whimsical Animals. And in the main one is the first CD of the Serif Deluxe Graphics Pack. Mostly, I'm just to damn lazy to take them out and put them away.

Current food obsession
Ramen noodles. The most recent Vegetarian Journal (Vegetarian Resource Group) had an article, "Japanese Noodle Dishes" that said Top Ramen brand, Oriental flavor is vegetarian. So I bought some.

Current environment
The guinea pigs are out and have been munching on a blueberry granola bar. I've been sitting in my computer area. It's a mess. 7 empty cans of coke, one empty bowl with spoon, two coffee mugs. wadded up papers, wrappers, tissues. notes to myself here and there. gah. How can anyone live this way? heh.
