I am a regular reader of Shadow in Tiger Country, a Diary of Terminal Cancer. I find it inspiring, Louise's photography is stunning and her writing has courage. I admire this woman for the pages she has written, for her artistry, and for her love. And now, a simple phrase:

Weeze died January 11th 2000.

That'll stop you in your tracks. The Internet is an incredible medium. I found a woman and her family, I grew to love them, and now I cry for them. I am sad. But I am grateful that I got to know this family on the other side of the world. I hope I can remember, life isn't as long as I think it is...
