So. I'm packing. Because I'm moving. I'm packing, and packing, and going through stuff and throwing stuff out and packing.

Unfortunately, the Static Girl gets distracted easily. heh. First I decided that I should probably back up a few files on my computer. So I have to set up my tape backup and get that going. Each tape takes about an hour to format, then another hour to do the actual back up of about 120mg. At least I don't have to sit there and watch it the entire time.

Then I decide I'd better start making audio tapes for my car ride since I don't have a cd player in my car. I started out with my silly Monster Ballads and added a Skid Row song and some Van Halan. Now I'm on to Dido and Vertical Horizon.

I'm packing some books. I've got a lot of books you know. Big picture books are very easy to get distracted with. Paging through Barlowe's Guide to Extraterrestrials/Great Aliens from Science Fiction Literature I discovered I had only read two of the books that he featured. Sad. I should read more of the classics. Then I picked up Dragonlover's Guide to Pern. Maybe it will go faster once all those are packed up nicely.

Oh, then it was photos. Yes, you just have to go through photos when you find them. :)

Then I found my rubix cubes. I've got two cubes and one ten sided um thing. And of course I had to see if I could still solve the cube. The first time it took me much longer than my old record of six or seven minutes. So I had to mess it up and try to solve it again a little bit quicker. I decided not to be tempted by the ten sided one... It can be tricky and I don't have all day after all!
