Happy World Animal Day! October 4th is the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi and is also designated World Animal Day. St. Francis is the patron saint of animals and the environment. And October 2nd is the birthday of Mohandas Gandhi. It's also World Farm Animal Day. Links:
This morning I had an apple for breakfast and I had split a quarter for the guinea pigs. They both love apples. Tegan ate about half of her slice and then wandered off. When Tess finished her bit, I gave her the rest of Tegans. Tegan wanders back and I tell her, "Tess is eating your apple." Tegan says "What?!" and goes over to Tess and steals back her bit of apple. bahaha. Critter Quotes!
